Role Purpose

To install, maintain, and troubleshoot vehicle tracking, telematics, and security systems to a consistently high technical standard, ensuring reliability, discretion, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install vehicle tracking units, telematics systems, and related security devices in a wide range of vehicles
• Conduct fault-finding and technical diagnostics on installed systems
• Ensure neat, concealed, and compliant installations according to company standards
• Test all installed devices for functionality and signal performance before handover
• Perform maintenance, removals, upgrades, and replacements where required
• Complete installation documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with customers during on-site installations
• Escalate technical issues requiring advanced intervention
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company assets responsibly
• Adhere to quality, safety, and turnaround-time expectations

Minimum Requirements

• Proven technical installation experience in one or more of the following environments:
  • vehicle tracking
  • auto electrical
  • car audio / accessories
  • telematics
  • fleet electronics
• Strong understanding of:
  • vehicle electrical systems
  • wiring diagrams
  • relays and fuse systems
  • fault diagnosis
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel to customer sites
• Ability to work independently in field environments

Preferred Experience

• Previous tracker installation experience
• Exposure to fleet installations
• Experience with covert installations
• Knowledge of multiple vehicle brands and electrical layouts
