Digital Media Manager & Content Creator

Bundu Brands is a proudly South African premium spirits company building a distinctive house of culturally resonant, high-quality liquor brands. Its flagship, Wildebeest Brandewyn, fuses heritage, humour, and Cape brandy craftsmanship into a nationally acclaimed product with strong retail traction across major chains including SPAR Tops and Pick n Pay Liquor.

The Role:

  1. Production (The “Maker”)
  • On-Site Content Capture:
    • Under guidance of Marketing Lead & Brand guidelines, create calendar of required shoots, co-ordinate and lead all photography and videography for “lifestyle” shoots, cocktail masterclasses, and brand events.
  • Graphic Design:
    • Design high-end digital assets (static and motion) for social platforms, ensuring 100% adherence to Bundu Brands & Individual brand visual guardrails & CI.
    • Design ad hoc trade assets for print for customers as per received brief e.g menus
    • Design trade POS using brand guardrails for delivery and execution of planned trade campaigns within the year
  • Post-Production: High-level editing of “Reels” and “TikToks” with a focus on premium aesthetics and sound design with high engagement potential
  1. Management (The “Architect”)
  • Social Media Calendar:
    • Own the end-to-end planning, copywriting, and scheduling across all relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
    • Under guidance of Marketing lead, work with Brand influencers on scheduled brand relevant content creation against agreed KPI’s and ensure on brand execution and delivery
  • Community Engagement:
    • Manage the “front-of-house” digital experience, responding and proactively engaging with customers, trade and influencers alike in the brand’s specific tone of voice to drive awareness, engagement and consideration
  • Website Owner
    • Owner the back end of the Bundu brands website for design, copywriting, and Shopify links
  1. Analytics (The “Analyst”)
  • Monthly Performance Reporting: Provide a deep-dive report on agreed KPIs (Engagement Rate, Reach, Follower Growth, and Traffic Conversion)
  • Strategic Optimization: Adjust the content mix monthly based on data-driven insights to maximize ROI on organic and boosted spend.
  • Manage digital media budget: Ensure digital media budget delivers a zero overspend per month and at least a minimum of 20% ROI.
  • Trend Tracking: Keeping Bundu Brands ahead of liquor industry digital trends.
