At VEA Group, we believe culture is what you do. That belief came to life recently when our Chief Culture Officer, Cornita Mortarotti, turned empathy into action. After learning about the impactful work of the Helderberg Stroke Support Group (HSSG), Cornita initiated the donation of a wheelchair to support stroke survivors on their journey to recovery. The wheelchair was collected from our offices by Claudia from HSSG, highlighting the deep connection between business and community. But the impact doesn’t stop there; this wheelchair will go on to serve multiple stroke survivors. HSSG rents out donated wheelchairs at a reduced fee, ensuring accessibility for those in need while also generating much-needed income to sustain their services.
